How to reset two-factor authentication (2FA)

Restoring your 2FA access

Updated over a week ago

If you’ve lost access to your authenticator app or can’t generate your 2FA code, you can request a reset by following these steps:

Step 1: Contact our support team.
Send an email to [email protected] from the same address you used to register your Quantia account.
In the subject line, write: "2FA Reset Request – [Your Full Name]"

Step 2: Request the reset of your two-factor authentication (2FA).
In the body of the email, include:

  • Your full name

  • The email address associated with your account

  • A brief explanation of why you’re requesting to reset your 2FA

Step 3: Attach identity verification.
Include a selfie of yourself holding your ID document (passport or national ID).
Make sure the photo is clear and shows both your face and the ID details.
This step is essential to verify your identity and protect your account’s security.

Step 4: Wait for confirmation.
Once your information has been verified, you’ll receive an email from [email protected] confirming that your 2FA has been disabled.
Make sure the email comes exactly from that address.

Step 5: Log back into your account and re-enable 2FA.
Access your account at Quantia.io and set up two-factor authentication again from the Security settings section.

You can follow our step-by-step guide to re-enable it here.

It’s very important to re-enable 2FA as soon as possible — it significantly increases your account’s security and is required for making withdrawals.

⚠️ Note: After reactivating 2FA, you must wait 48 hours before being able to request a withdrawal.
